Anal Snake
Developing a line of anal snakes required some serious thought, sculpting and technical considerations.
The first challenge was an anal snake has to be way more flexible than a butt plug or dildo, since it fulfills an entirely different function. Unlike a dildo or plug, an anal snake is designed to go far up into someone. Anal snakes tend to be around fourteen inches and up in length to accomplish this.
The first anal snake we wanted to create was something that would be good to start with. This resulted in our Mars model. A straight forward design like a gradually increasing diameter anal tube. The Mars anal snake makes for an easy first time anal insertion to get used to the feeling.
The sculpting on this was very precise as we wanted a super smooth very gradual increase in diameter. It also results in a somewhat difficult mold as casting this sort of shape flawlessly is quite finnicky and takes real time and attention to detail. An anal snake has to be perfect, so we really took our time with both the sculpting as well as production procedures.
Lastly, the silicone used has to be both very durable, as well as super flexible. We decided on a Shore 00-20 softness for this model. This gives just enough firmness to guide the anal snake in but is still incredibly flexible for navigating bends and twists.
With The Orion Anal Snake we wanted a step up from the Mars in terms of anal tube size. The Orion is just a bit larger in diameter than the Mars anal snake but loses none of the flexibility. Thus its presence will be felt more and dilate more during insertion and use.
Another thing we wanted to incorporate was a bit more functionality, thus a depth scale is debossed slightly into the surface of the Orion Anal Snake.
This will give an idea of the depth, certainly when not inserted. However, it is an approximation as there is no way to make something super soft and flexible that doesn't also stretch or compress, affecting any scale printed on the anal snake. Therefore, when using the Orion anal snake, one should be aware that stretching or compression during anal penetration may result in the scale being stretched or compressed accordingly.
Our TON 618 Anal Snake (named after the super massive black hole) is our largest anal snake. Sculpting on this was very involved as it resulted in a model that was exceptionally long and delicate. Making the molds also took quite a bit of time, resulting in a mold weighing over fifty pounds. It took some real skill to get both the molding and the casting just right on this anal snake, but we love the results and think you will as well!
